Tell me what is your favorite scripture. Go ahead, post it. When next I get on all the posts will be added onto this page ,then we can hear what others have to say about this scripture. That way we all learn more about how scriptures effect people and how they come to mean different things to different people. I myself love
ST Mathew 3:13-17.
Funny my very first scripture that I got I got when I was baptised{8 years old} And when I got the scriptures I turned right to this page. It was the 22 of February and I LOVED IT. I thought how cool I got baptised like Jesus. How lucky are we that are born into the church. We grow up around Faith and faith just comes naturally. I love my scriptures though I do tend to be a bit hard on them and I just love that scripture. The line " And he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:"
A dove pure, white and simple how lovely.

My Temple Experiance
This weekend or Last Weekend. The youth had the chance to go to the temple to do Baptisms for the dead. It was so wonderful to be given the opportunity to see a temple that we might not have been able to go to. The long ride was worth it, for the beauty of the Temple took my breath away. I love the feeling that you get when you walk into a Temple. It's a feeling of peace, joy, love, and for me I just feel as though I belong. There was a great turn out most of our youth were there. We got so much temple work done it truly was amazing and a Blessing.
Inside the Temple as we waited we were asked to be reverent and to make as little noise as possible. They also asked us that we think of the spirits that were waiting up in heaven for us to do the work that they could not do while they were alive. As I sat there I deiced that, that was what I needed to do, I felt with all my heart that what I was doing was right. I sat there in the pew and tried to Imagine a Whole line of people just waiting a look of longing, joy, and patience on their face. I imagined how they were feeling, how they would react. After a while we went into the changing area, I was nervous, it wasn't my first time but it had been a while so I was also so so excited.
Then I went into the conformation chambers. I sat down on the bench and waited for my turn, while I was waiting I went back to that corner in my mind where I had imagined the line of souls waiting for their work to be done. This time it was different instead of just a line I saw also a chair and surrounding that chair were the brothers that were performing the conformations. The chair was not filled by the youth but was instead occupied by a spirit, who had been waiting in the line. As they finished the words I saw the spirit smile, some were crying others looked at peace. Now while I was imaging this, The girls in front of me were getting their conformations, one after the other.{ We did about ten each} Every time a brother said the name of the person they were confirming I would try to imagine what they would look like.
For a time this went on then it was my turn. I sat down on that chair, I felt calm and sure that what I was doing was right. The brother behind me put his hands on my head and I immediately felt warmth flow through me. Again I went into that corner of my mind and I saw the line. As he said their names I again tried to imagine what the person looked like. About half way through It got harder to see the line and the Brother paused for a second. My head felt like their was pressure pushing on it , I did not feel alone. Then the brother continued and I felt the pressure leave my mind. When the confirmations were done and I had stood up the brother said, " When I paused I felt that spirit here with us."
I will never forget that feeling. I know for a fact that what we do in the Temple is sacred and good. I believe that the Temple is the house of the Lord and that he truly does visit there and that you can feel his spirit when you visit. It is my hope that I will be able and worthy to go there again and feel the spirit that I felt when I visited the Temple that weekend. Temple work is sacred and precious and I hope that everyone is worthy to go there and feel the spirit. Amen.
Psalms 73:23-28
23Nevertheless I am continually with thee: Thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon the earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.

The Book of Mormon
Now I know that if you are a mormon then you know about The Book of Mormon. Seeing as Virtue {our new value] I just found our cds of the Book of Mormon and have chosen to listen to it untill I am done. I feel that we should all again read the book of Mormon. For some to form a Testimony for others to strangthen their testimonies. After each chapter I will try to write how I feel and what I think. Please try to read the Book of Mormon. I myself have been lacking in this area, so I will now read it. I feel this is so important and hope and pray that you will all make a bigger effort to read the Book of Mormon. Good luck and Good Reading.

Topic of the week.
This is new for me I have never done a topic before but I got the feeling that this would be good. Not just for me but for everyone else. Every week I will place a topic in a post, where anyone can write what they want about it. I will also write my thoughts on thee subject and over the course of the week will read everyone's opinions and even maybe write more. I'm doing this not only because I feel I should but also because I noticed that every time I gave a talk, I better understoud the subject and my testimony was strenghtened by it. I believe that this will help strenghten others testomonies or even their faith.
This week's topic is on the clothing that you wear.
This week's topic is on the clothing that you wear.
CLOTHING
Now I am going to talk about the clothing that you wear. I'm sure that most of you know that in the strenght of youth it talks about your dress and appearence and wearing it cleanly. I'm going to talk about that too, but the thing I feel I must stress is the cloths that you wear at church. In the True to the Faith booklet it talks about Dress and it reads, " Through your dress and appearence, you can show the Lord that you know how precious your body is. Your clothing expresses who you are.--- When you are well groomed and modestly dressed, you can invite the compionship of the Spirit and exercise a good influence on those around you." When you go to church the way you dress says how much you respect God and Jesus Christ, it shows how much you love an dcare for them, it says how much you value what they say. For example when you go on a date or anywhere with friends you dress nice, and when you do that you are telling them- I don't want you to think bad of me and I don't want to not show you how much I care by wearing sloppy cloths and acting mean, while we are at a nice place- Would you wear sweats going out to eat at a nice restraunt, niether would I wear sweats at church. By wearing my best cloths I'm saying to Hevenly Father that he matters to me and he means enough that I will dress nicely and I will behave properly at church. While preparing to go to church ask yourself this question so that you may know if what your wearing is the right thing to wear. " Would I feel comfortable with my appearence if I were in the Lords presence?" If the answer is no, do you realy think it would be appropreate to worship Him in those cloths, for is he not watching you and looking over you. That goes for anytime, is he not watching you doess he not know your heart, your mind and your soul. Dressing modestly is important it sets the whole mood of where you are. It says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,and ye are not your own
20 For ye are bought with a price:therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." If your body is the temple in which the Holy Ghost lives would you not want him to want to stay there? Dressing modestly is the way to keep the Lord on your side.
